Lily and Josh's wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. Simple. Sweet. Elegant. I loved the traditional look of black tuxes and bridesmaids gowns. Lily stood out, and looked like an absolute princess in her stunning wedding gown. But my favorite part about their day was they way they talked about God's hand in their relationship, and, of course, all the love! Lily's closest family and friends came all the way from Korea to be a part of their special day. And both sides welcomed Bride and Groom with open arms. There was so much love and support surrounding them in the people they love.
They met in Bible College and Josh proposed while they were both in Korea. They had a ceremony in Korea for those who couldn't come to the states, and then in the states to process her green card, but they didn't call themselves officially married until their wedding day here in the US! I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it. It's amazing to see two people, from two different walks of life come together in love. And it was even more amazing to hear how God's hand was and is on their lives. Their love is sweet, and pure. I hope to photograph them many more times in the future!
Our sweet little Anastasia is 6 months old! Why does time fly so swiftly? Seems like just yesterday I watched her mama birth her into this world! Bittersweet.
Whitney wanted to do a nursing session. So I said, heck yes! There's nothing I love more than lifestyle sessions. I don't have to do a ton of posing, I just capture things the way they are. Which, in my opinion, is the way it should be! We took our time, and it's a good thing, because Anya was way too curious about what I was doing with my camera. She didn't do as much nursing, as she did staring at me with a look that said, "what on earth are you doing, lady?" Regardless, we had so much fun. Anya is the sweetest little baby, and beautiful, just like her mama!
Rosco (the furbaby) even had to get in there with a few sneak attack kisses. He loves his little human sister. We all love Anastasia. Especially her chunky thunder thighs. (Ha!)
Happy 6 months pretty girl!
Danielle and Nathan are literally some of my favorite people. Partially because they're just awesome, but also because I can message them at 8 pm and be like Session tomorrow? and they're always like Um, yes.
I never have sessions scheduled when it snows. That would be amazing if a session just so happened to line up with a big snow storm, but it never does. So, when it started snowing I knew I had to get someone out in the snow. My first choice is always a sweet couple. And I knew that Danielle's red hair would be AMAZING with a snowy evergreen background.
So we threw some snow around and froze our butts off, but it was obviously worth it.

This dress though. It's obviously a really popular dress for the last year or two, as almost every boutique sells it now. And for good reason - It's gorgeous! This burgundy color is probably one of my favorite versions of this dress. And Shania looks absolutely perfect! I loved getting to spend the afternoon photographing her and Lane. Fun fact - I've known Lane since we were babies because his older brother and I were in daycare and grade school together! Such a small world. Now he's getting married and they've got a cute little son. Doesn't make me feel old at all. (Ha ha.)
I can't wait to photograph these cuties on their wedding day!
